ECE 2205 is a European Community specific helmet standard that a helmet must meet in order to be used in Europe. Each helmet has been evaluated on different points in order to be sure that it effectively protects its wearer.

The materials used to manufacture your helmet can be damaged by overly abrasive commercially available cleaners.

To avoid this, clean your helmet with a soft cloth or sponge, lukewarm water and mild soap if necessary. Be sure to let your helmet dry at room temperature, so as not to damage the lining.

It’s time to change your helmet if the inner foam has settled and it now seems too big. This period varies according to the frequency of use but it is generally considered that it is necessary to change helmets every five years.
